National Flash-Fiction Day, 16 May 2012.

This Wednesday, 16th May, is the first ever UK National Flash-Fiction Day.

The day is promising to be full of events, including the launch of the anthology of flash fiction, Jawbreakers, that has been created especially for NFFD, and is jam packed with flash fiction stories by some incredibly talented writers.

As you will see from the NFFD site, there are events taking place all over the UK, and during the day there will be a 'Flash Flood' of flash fiction stories, including one of my own, Listen.  Submissions for this are open until midnight tomorrow so you still have time to submit (previously published stories are accepted).

 For my own personal celebration of the day itself, my short story collection will be free for Kindle and I am also doing a UK giveaway of 15 (yes, I know) copies of the paperback of this book via Goodreads.

I hope you all enjoy National Flash Fiction Day 2012. Hopefully it will be the first of many!
