Hello Alison, and welcome to my blog.
First of all please could you tell
us a little bit about yourself?
I was born in London,
returned to Ireland
(rural Kerry where my mother is from) when I was nine and have lived in the
Dublin/Wicklow area since 1995. I have a first class honours degree in
psychology and a degree in Commmunication Studies and worked as a HR Manager
and Technical Writer. I have four children, 2 boys, 11 and 9, a girl 7 and a 4
year old boy about to start school and I resigned from paid employment when the
eldest was born. I’ve always had trouble deciding what I wanted to ‘be’ but in
writing I have found where I want to be and what I want to do and I hope I can
do more, write, do readings, teach, reach out.
